A Living Mandala for a New Golden age
Dzokden Kalapa is the first center in the world to offer the complete Jonang Kalachakra path—from ngöndro through the completion stage—to Western household practitioners in their own languages. Nowhere else in the world does this exist.
This rare and precious offering depends upon stable conditions. It is essential that we build a strong community foundation to ensure the long-term sustainability of this retreat center, so that the Dzokden Dharma may take root and flourish in Europe for generations to come.
“Kalapa is not simply a place; it is a living mandala in which each member is an essential part of the arising of a new Golden Age.”

As you support the mandala, the mandala supports your practice.
I am Barbara, from Brazil. I live in Austria for 20 years. I am student of Khentrul Rinpoche already a few years.I am a member of Dzokden Kalapa since last year will always continue to be a member. Kalapa is for me a second home where I can enjoy great opportunities to engage in Dharma service and practice. It is for me a refuge, where I am able to practice Dharma and spend unique quality time. The atmosphere, the dharma brothers and sisters living there, the temple, the Stupa, the beauty of nature makes Kalapa one of the most special locations ever. It’s perfect for those who want to dedicate seriously to the practice of Dharma. It is an honor to be a member, as it increases my connection with Rinpoche and his mission as well.
Do membership benefits guarantee retreat participation?
No. Membership benefits do not guarantee access to specific teachings, retreats, or accommodations. All retreats remain subject to prerequisites, capacity, scheduling, and teacher discretion.
Are benefits transferable?
No. Membership benefits are personal and non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
How can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
You may request to upgrade or downgrade your membership level at any time, based on your capacity and circumstances.
To make a change, please contact the Dzokden Kalapa administration by email and indicate the membership level you wish to move to. The Secretary or Treasurer will assist you with updating your membership record and adjusting your membership fee accordingly.
Changes to Sponsoring Membership levels typically take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, unless otherwise agreed. Upgrading to a higher level may be applied immediately if you wish.
If you are a Standard or Administrative Member, any change that affects your membership category (for example, moving from active volunteer service to a sponsoring role) may require confirmation by the Board to ensure alignment with the Association’s statutes.
Dzokden Kalapa understands that personal and financial situations change over time, and members are encouraged to choose the level that best aligns with their current capacity.
Build the Future of Kalapa Together

Whether you offer time, generosity, leadership, or steady support, your membership helps create the conditions for a new Golden Age grounded in wisdom and compassion. Your membership plants seeds to nurture this space in Europe, Dharma and flourish the community for generations to come.
