Programs with Khentrul RinpocheSpring volunteer weeks
We have a very unusual and special opportunity at Suchandra Institute. Khentrul Rinpoche will becoming to Europe to give 3 empowerments that are incredibly special from him including a Kalki King Empowerment. In order to prepare for Rinpoche’s visit we are upgrading the Gompa space to Rinpoche’s specifications and offering him a new hand carved throne. We need all of our European communities help to achieve this aspiration.

A Shrine for the Kalachakra Statue
Rinpoche instructed us with his vision for the Gompa to make a proper shrine area for the Kalachakra Statue off of the floor.

A Vajra Seat for Europe
To create the conditions for Khentrul Rinpoche to return to Europe year after year, we are offering him a Vajra Throne for the Institute.
Volunteer Weekends
Help transform the space
We need the help of carpenters, painters, electricians, manual labor, cooks, handy people, woodworkers and more.
2022 Retreats
This is an incredibly precious opportunity to attend a retreat and empowerment in person with Khentrul Rinpoche. He has not been in Europe since 2019 due to the Pandemic. While it is possible to follow the Dharma online, it is best to take the opportunity to meet the Guru and receive the Empowerments in Person. For those who wish to stay on for more than one-retreat we can make accomodations for you to stay on between sessions. You can enjoy hiking in the mountains, meditation and yoga practice as well as a chance to get to know Rinpoche better.
Marici retreat
June 24 – 29, 2022
As one of the 21 Taras, Marici is the ultimate protector. She with the dawning of the sun and, as the sun, her blessings pervade everywhere without limit. Marici is the protector of Kalapa and Rinpoche’s personal Dharma protector so we are fortunate for him to auspiciously bestow this blessing here.
Vajrapani retreat
July 1 – 6, 2022
Tap into the power of all the Buddhas to tame your obstacles to realization. Khentrul Rinpoche will bestow a very special empowerment of Vajrapani known as the Demon Destroyer and the practice that Lama Lutrin used in the retreat in which he cured himself of Leprosy.
8 Shambhala Kings Empowerment
July 8 – 13, 2022
Connect with the power of the 8 Dharma Kings of Shambhala to help bring about a Golden Age of Peace and Harmony in our world. This empowerment is a direct lineage transmitted to Rinpoche from the Kings to help us all connect with the compassionate warrior within so that Kalachakra may flourish in our world as it did in Shambhala.
